Fairer Finance Ribbons
Fairer Finance ribbons reward excellence in financial services, encouraging competition beyond price. Their ribbons are based on the results of unique customer experience ratings. Every six months, they rate companies based on what their customers think of them, how good they are at handling complaints – and how transparent they are.
Brands that receive a Fairer Finance Gold Ribbon have performed better for customer experience than 80% of the market. They tend to excel at handling complaints, and at explaining the key features of the product in their documents and product journeys. They also tend to have the happiest and most trusting customers. Fairer Finance use consumer polling to measure happiness and trust. Polling is conducted by independent polling company Opinium, using their nationally representative panel. They receive tens of thousands of responses from these surveys every six months. These responses are analysed to provide a happiness and a trust score for each brand in our ratings.
Best Digital Experience
Fairer Finance measure the results using the same method as with the happiness and trust metrics and award this endorsement to the brand with the highest score. Customers were asked how they would rate our online digital capability, thinking about the ease of use and the services available.
MoneyComms Top Performer Awards
The MoneyComms Top Performer Awards is an annual ceremony where an independent panel identifies banks, building societies and credit card companies that have gone that extra mile and have delivered excellent deals for the consumer. Providers and their accounts are selected not simply on the interest rate, but product features, transparency, simplicity, consistency, and website navigation were also key factors considered in compiling the ‘best of the best’ list.
MoneyFacts Consumer Awards
The award is very highly regarded as it recognises the companies that are the best in their respective categories and is based on votes by consumers. Moneyfacts are well-known throughout the financial sector for their independent expert analysis and their comprehensive survey results from over 110,000 people. The award ceremony covers 31 financial services categories, including banking, insurance, and mortgages.
Moneynet Personal Finance Awards
The Moneynet Personal Finance Awards is an annual awards ceremony where an independent panel identifies banks, building societies and credit card companies that have gone that extra mile and have delivered excellent deals for the consumer.
British Bank Awards Finalist
RCI Bank were honoured to be a finalist at this year’s British Bank Awards for the first time. The British Bank Awards are run by the customer review platform Smart Money People, whose mission is to help consumers make successful choices. The British Bank Awards help to achieve this mission by acting as a symbol of excellence.
